Soft, fluffy chocolate rolls filled with a rich cocoa spread and topped with a sweet strawberry cream cheese glaze!
🛒 Ingredients
🔹 Dough:
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 3 tbsp organic cane sugar
- 2¼ tsp traditional yeast
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
🔹 Chocolate Filling:
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp sea salt
🔹 Strawberry Cream Cheese Glaze:
- ¼ cup vegan plain cream cheese
- 2 tbsp strawberry purée (about 2 strawberries)
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
👩🍳 Directions
✨ Step 1: Activate Yeast
Warm non-dairy milk with sugar until lukewarm. Stir in yeast & let sit 10 minutes until foamy.
✨ Step 2: Make Dough
Mix flour & salt. Add oil & yeast mixture. Knead for 5-7 minutes until soft. Let rise for 1 hour.
✨ Step 3: Prepare Filling
Melt coconut oil & chocolate chips. Stir in coconut sugar, cocoa powder, & salt until smooth.
✨ Step 4: Shape Rolls
Roll dough into a rectangle, spread with chocolate filling, roll tightly, and cut into 10 pieces.
✨ Step 5: Bake
Place rolls in two parchment-lined pans. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until golden. Cool.
✨ Step 6: Make Glaze & Frost
Blend cream cheese, strawberry purée, & powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cooled rolls.
