Blueberry Colada Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 1 oz (30 ml) white rum (or coconut rum for extra tropical flavor)
- 1 oz (30 ml) blueberry syrup (or fresh blueberry puree)
- 2 oz (60 ml) pineapple juice
- 2 oz (60 ml) coconut cream
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries (or fresh blueberries + ice)
- Optional: Fresh blueberries or a pineapple wedge for garnish
- Instructions:
- In a blender, combine the rum, blueberry syrup (or puree), pineapple juice, coconut cream, and frozen blueberries.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of pineapple juice or water to adjust the consistency.
- Pour into a chilled glass (a hurricane glass or coconut shell works great!).
- Garnish with fresh blueberries or a pineapple wedge.
- Serve with a straw and enjoy!
Tips:
- For a non-alcoholic version, skip the rum and add a splash of coconut water or extra pineapple juice.
- If you don’t have blueberry syrup, make a quick puree by blending fresh blueberries with a little sugar and water, then strain for a smooth texture.
