Festive & Creamy: Baked Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)
- Crackers or crusty bread, for serving
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and shredded mozzarella until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a small baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, cook the cranberries with sugar over medium heat until the cranberries burst and create a thick sauce, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the cranberry sauce over the cream cheese mixture in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden around the edges.
- Remove from the oven, and if desired, garnish with chopped green onions for a pop of color.
- Serve warm with crackers or crusty bread.
