M&m's strawberry chocolate cheesecake


Ingredients:

For the Crust:

- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 3 large eggs

- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

- 1/2 cup M&M's, chopped

For the Topping:

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

- 1/2 cup M&M's, whole


Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.

3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream and pureed strawberries until fully incorporated.

5. Gently fold in the chopped M&M's into the cheesecake filling.

6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

7. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for about 1 hour. This helps prevent cracking.

8. Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

9. Before serving, top the cheesecake with sliced fresh strawberries and whole M&M's for decoration.
