Homemade Spicy Margarita

This drink is great anytime of the year, especially warm summer days, but make sure you have it when you're home and settled in one place for a few hours - no drinking and driving!
Equipment
- 1 Mason Jar/Drinking Cup
- 1 Zester
- 1 Strainer
- 1 fork
- 1 Small Mixing Bowl
- 1 Lemon/Lime Juicer
Ingredients
- 1 large lime
- 1 large orange
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1 shot tequila I used Patron
- 1 small dash chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper I mean the tiniest dash
- ice cubes
Optional
- 1 sliver jalapenos 'cause we fancy
Instructions
- Grab a small mixing bowl. Zest one tablespoon of the lime and the orange and place in the cup. Squeeze the entire lime and the entire orange into the bowl as well. Stir together (I used a fork for stirring).
- Add in your honey, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir together again.
- Add some ice to your mason jar/drinking cup. Then grab your strainer and place over the mouth of your mason jar/cup. Pour the contents of your small mixing bowl through the strainer into the mason jar/cup. Add your shot of tequila and stir again.
- I like to add a sliver of jalapeños to finish off the drink, but that's totally optional! Enjoy your drink!
